What we draw

Commissions, drawn one at a time.

Every piece starts with a photograph you send us and ends with an original drawing on paper. Nothing is reproduced or reprinted — when a commission is finished, there is exactly one of it.

01

Portrait Commissions

The core of the studio — a photograph of someone you love, redrawn in pencil at close to photographic detail.

  • Single and group portraits
  • Graphite or charcoal finish
  • Pet and family portraits
  • A range of paper sizes
02

Gift & Occasion Pieces

Most commissions are gifts. We work to your date, and we will tell you upfront whether it can be finished in time.

  • Wedding and anniversary gifts
  • Birthday and Valentine's commissions
  • Memorial and remembrance portraits
  • Hand-lettered names and dates
03

Public Figure Portraits

Portraits of sportspeople, performers and online creators — commissioned by fans, by the subjects themselves, or drawn as studio originals.

  • Cricketers and sportspeople
  • Creator and influencer portraits
  • Fan commissions and gifts
  • Commissioned and studio originals
04

Framing & Delivery

A drawing is fragile. We finish, mount and pack every piece so it reaches you in the condition it left the studio.

  • Framing and mounting options
  • Fixative-sealed to resist smudging
  • Rigid, protective packing
  • Tracked delivery across India

How a commission works

From photograph to framed drawing.

Four steps, with a fixed price agreed before any pencil touches paper.

1

Send your photo

Share the photograph by WhatsApp or email. We will tell you honestly whether it has the clarity to work as a drawing — and ask for a better one if it does not.

2

Quote & date

You get a fixed price based on size, medium and number of faces, along with a completion date. An advance confirms your slot in the studio queue.

3

Drawing

The piece is drawn by hand over several sittings. We send progress photographs at key stages so you can see it take shape.

4

Framing & dispatch

Once you approve the finished drawing, it is sealed, framed if you have asked for it, packed rigid and dispatched with tracking.

About the studio

One artist, one pencil, one drawing at a time.

Kriti Studio is the registered studio name of Rajat Pal, a pencil artist working out of Modi Puram, Meerut. Every commission is drawn by his own hand — there is no team, no outsourcing and no digital reproduction.

Portraits from this studio have found an audience well beyond Meerut — drawings of sportspeople, performers and public figures alongside private commissions for families across India.

Because it is a registered proprietorship with an active GST registration, we invoice properly and work to a written scope. That matters when a commission is a corporate gift or a company is paying for it.

If you are thinking about a commission, send the photograph first. We will tell you what it will cost, how long it will take, and whether it is a piece we can do justice to.
